Registrar's Newsletter: April 2011 Everyone in the Huntington-Surrey School community is going to be busy during this final quarter of the school year. Here are a few reminders of what's happening. Seniors: Be sure to keep tabs on the schedule for your research projects, as well as your standard homework assignments. We want everyone to succeed and arrive at graduation happy and relaxed! **Senior English Exit Exam is April 22nd.** Juniors: Watch for the assessment letter from the registrar. Besides the letter, the envelope will contain a copy of your current transcript and a description of Huntington-Surrey graduation requirements. All students: If you are planning a summer work-study experience for which you want Huntington-Surrey credit, be sure to check with Light, Johni, or Marilyn beforehand. We need full information about your plans now, and later we will need complete documentation of what you have done. We are also offering summer school classes according to your individual requests, so be sure to make your needs known to Johni or Light as soon as possible. Scheduling can only be done when we know who is coming. This is the time of year when the invitation letters for the next school year are sent to everyone. Please read your letter carefully, and check with the office if you have questions. We are also starting the admissions process for new students for the coming year. If you have friends who are interested in Huntington-Surrey School, please tell them (and their parents) that this is the time to arrange for an interview and a visiting day. Finally, don't forget that the Huntington-Surrey Yearbook will be coming out at the end of this quarter. You will have a copy only if you request it, so be sure to reserve your copy with Mack, the Yearbook advisor. Remember: The friendly folks in the school office can be reached at (512) 478-4743.
